The Cincinnati Chapter of the European American Chamber of Commerce, Clark Schaefer Hackett, Greater Cincinnati Foreign Trade Zone Inc., Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, and Start Something Bold invite you to join us at the 2019 Transatlantic Business Outlook as we explore the risks and opportunities companies in our region face doing business across the Atlantic in 2020 and beyond. 

Keynote speaker Ryan Wang, Chief US Economist with HSBC Securities, will provide a forecast of global and transatlantic business growth for the next few years; there will also be separate panel discussions on trade and tariffs and cross-pollinating workforce development efforts.

A highlight of the event will be the results of our Transatlantic Manufacturing Executive Survey, which will provide valuable market intelligence on how manufacturers across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana are planning for the future.

Start Something Bold will report the results of its survey of top manufacturing executives from Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana working in the transatlantic business space about their plans, intentions, and concerns for business trends in 2020 and beyond.

 
Panel Discussion: Tariffs & Trade
As the #11 Exporting region in the United States, the Cincinnati Metropolitan Statistical Area is disproportionately impacted by shifts in U.S. and global trade policies.  This panel will explore some of the milestones that may lie ahead; how manufacturers in our region are being impacted by uncertainty, and offer some tools to mitigate the risks.
