About Us
Based in Geneva, Switzerland, Givaudan was founded in 1895 as a perfumery by Leon and Xavier Givaudan. Since then the firm has grown to become one of the world’s leading flavor and fragrance companies, enhancing the scent and taste experiences for countless products – from fashion fragrances to personal care products, and in nearly every kind of food and beverage product you can imagine.
Givaudan has over 180 operations around the world employing almost 15,000 people in two divisions – Flavor and Fragrances. In our area, Givaudan Flavours Corporation operates facilities in both Cincinnati and Florence, doing research to develop and test new flavoring products and applications as well as producing flavoring products for customers. Locally Givaudan employs about 1,150 people.
