2022 has been an important year for the EACC. In 2021 we launched our new membership structure which promised expanded benefits and value for members across the board. And for the first seven months of this year we’ve focused on delivering that promised value with new programs like EACC TRANSFORM, our executive roundtables, CXO Dinners, ‘Coffee & Commerce’ events and international travel, as well as maintaining and updating our steadfast programs like our Stammtisch (with our Stammtisch on the Road) and the Annual Gala dinner (which found a new venue at Music Hall this spring). And we still have our EACC Signage at CVG!
While we continue to build on and add to these accomplishments, the next step is to translate this enhanced value proposition into a growing membership. I continue to believe that the most valuable asset the EACC has to offer our members is our ability to build new connections and networks. The value we can offer to members only grows as we bring more companies and more people into the network. (And the additional revenue supports our efforts to develop and expand our programming.)
At the same time, our existing members have and will continue to benefit from this expanded value proposition. It is only appropriate that we encourage members to consider upgrading their membership level so that it reflects the value provided by EACC membership and participation.
When we launched our new membership structure, Board President Dominic Franchini called it an ‘experiment,’ and it has proven to be an extremely successful one. I’m asking you to help us maintain and accelerate that success in three ways:
- Participate: The best way to gain value from your membership (and to add value for others) is to participate in EACC events and programs, and to encourage your colleagues to do the same.
- Evaluate: Has EACC membership generated new contacts or opportunities for your business? If so, please consider the value the EACC has provided and consider if it justifies an increased membership level.
- Disseminate: Help us spread the word! Do you have a customer, supplier or vendor that operates in the transatlantic business space? Invite them to Stammtisch, Coffee & Commerce or another EACC event, and introduce them to me so I can follow up about EACC membership.
Let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestions about how we might best grow our membership, and thanks in advance for your help!
